Compare Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro vs Poco X3

Overseas, in other markets, this shouldn’t be a problem based on my experience with the Redmi Note 9T. Unlike the Poco X3 NFC which had a Snapdragon 732, this device gets an impressive bump up to the Snapdragon 860 7nm processor. It is the first smartphone to run on the Snapdragon 860 which is essentially a rebadged Snapdragon 855+ processor from late 2019. Xiaomi provided AndroidHeadlines with a review unit of the Poco X3 Pro. This review was written after using the device for more than 7 days. The phone is running MIUI 12 on top of Android 11 with the April 2021 security patch. Xiaomi did not have any input into the review and is seeing this review at the same time as our readers.

  • Look a bit further and you’ll see competition from realme.
  • Mid-range competition in the smartphone industry is tough, and it’s not easy for any handset to stand out.
  • Whereas many are now pushing 108-megapixel cameras as the norm, Poco is a little further down the ladder with the X3 Pro, instead opting for a 48-megapixel main sensor.

Speaking of the camera setup, unlike many other phones, the camera is not on the right or left side of the back but it is centered. As for security, a fingerprint scanner is built into the power button along the side of the phone. This might not have the sex appeal of an under-display scanner, but the physical versions remain faster and more reliable for the most part – this one included. You can also always use the selfie camera for a less secure 2D face unlock. When it comes time to charge the phone, the X3 Pro falters a bit.

The focus here was clearly on performance, at the cost of everything else. If you need a lot of grunt in your daily use, the POCO X3 Pro is perhaps the best option in the category. However, for a more standard workload — think music streaming, taking photographs, or texting — a more well-rounded option like the Redmi Note 10 Pro would be a better bet for most. Perhaps the most obvious alternatives come from stablemate Xiaomi.

First of all, you need to download the official stock ROM from the above-given link flash your device. With Flash files, you can also re-install the Stock Firmware on any Android device.

Poco phones come with exactly what I look for in a phone. They are superfast, putting much costlier phones to shame. They offer excellent battery life, along with a decent camera setup.
